About Women Shearling Slipper

Women's Shearling Slippers — Hand-Stitched Calf Leather with Real Wool Lining

Bespoky women's shearling slippers are hand-stitched in Gaziantep, Turkey, by 4th-generation Anatolian artisans. Since 2018, partnering with these workshops, we have built a collection of 42+ shearling-lined styles — closed-back, open-back, pointed-toe and slipper-boot pairs. Every pair pairs a vegetable-tanned calf leather upper with real Anatolian shearling lining sourced from the same region. Anatomical wide toe box, zero drop sole. Starting at $96, these are hand-stitched leather slippers with real shearling at the price of synthetic Vivobarefoot or Lems pairs.

Whether you face cold tile floors in winter, want a refined indoor shoe with real warmth, or need a slip-on warm enough for the porch in winter, this is the place. Browse all 109 women's slippers or jump into a specific silhouette below.

Pointed-toe shearling pairs add elegance — enough to wear under loungewear when working from home.

Why Calf Leather, Not Buffalo

Calf hide is thinner (1.4-1.8mm vs 2.5-3.5mm buffalo), softer, and gentler underfoot. Read our calf vs buffalo comparison.

Customer Questions (FAQ)

How warm are they?

Real shearling regulates to body temperature — warm in winter, breathable in spring.

Can I wear them outside?

Briefly yes — rubber sole grips porch, garage, short errands.

How is the sizing?

True to size with anatomical wide toe box. Shearling adds slight bulk — if between sizes, size up half a size.

How long do they last?

5-8 years for the calf upper, 4-6 years for the shearling lining.

Can I machine-wash them?

No — spot-clean only. Air-dry.

Is the shearling real?

Yes — real Anatolian sheepskin from Gaziantep region.

Why Turkish calf leather, not buffalo?

Calf is finer and softer; buffalo is too heavy for slippers.
