Each pair starts as vegetable-tanned calf hide from our 4th-gen Gaziantep tannery. The hide is cut by hand, then stitched with waxed linen thread to a leather welt — the welted construction is what makes our ankle boots resoleable for decades. A pair takes 8-12 hours of hand-work.
