Suede barefoot shoes: colours, styles and care
Suede is the soft, brushed side of the leather, and it gives these shoes a matte, velvety look that differs from smooth calf. Most pairs in this collection are suede, with a few in calf leather and nubuck. The range includes slip-on loafers and moccasin-style shoes, oxford-style lace-ups, some boots and some slippers, with a few ballet flats; most have a round toe.
Colours and seasons
Shades include dark grey, dark green, light tan, orange, black, burgundy and tan, which gives you plenty of earthy and bold options. Many pairs suit winter and spring or autumn, and some work for summer too. Some slippers are shearling slippers with a real sheepskin lining.
