12-Month Craftsmanship Warranty
Bespoky 12-Month Craftsmanship Warranty
Every Bespoky pair is made by hand, to order, in our own workshops in Gaziantep and Istanbul, Turkey. Each pair is made from start to finish by one shoemaker. We cover every pair with a 12-month warranty against workmanship and manufacturing defects. The warranty period starts on the date your order is delivered.
What the warranty covers
For 12 months from the delivery date, the warranty covers defects caused by how the shoe was made:
- Stitching defects — seams that come undone, or missing or loose stitches, because of a workmanship error.
- Construction defects — the sole separating from the upper because of a construction fault, not because of impact.
- Leather defects — splitting, cracking or peeling of the upper leather under normal wear.
- Component defects — faulty eyelets, elastic gores or hardware.
What the warranty does not cover
- Normal wear and tear (sole wear, lining wear, leather patina).
- Water damage from prolonged submersion or exposure to extreme conditions.
- Colour change from prolonged sunlight or improper care.
- Damage from alterations, third-party repairs or unsuitable cleaning products.
- Accidental damage, such as impact, abrasion, chemicals, pets or children.
How to make a warranty claim
- Email info@bespokyshoes.com with your order number.
- Include 3–5 clear photos: the whole shoe, a close-up of the defect, the sole and the inside.
- Briefly describe how the problem developed and how the shoes have been worn and cared for.
- Our team reviews every claim and replies by email.
- If we confirm a manufacturing defect, we repair the pair. If a repair is not possible, we replace it. We explain the next steps by email.
Warranty, returns and care
The warranty is separate from returns and exchanges, which are explained in our refund policy. Sole wear is normal wear, not a defect. Our care guide explains how to look after leather.
Frequently asked questions
How long is the Bespoky warranty?
12 months from the date your order is delivered, against workmanship and manufacturing defects.
What happens if my pair has a manufacturing defect?
We repair it. If a repair is not possible, we replace the pair.
What is not covered?
Normal wear and tear (sole wear, lining wear, patina), water damage from submersion, colour change from sunlight or improper care, damage from alterations, third-party repairs or harsh cleaning products, and accidental damage.
Do I need to register my shoes?
No. Your order confirmation email is your proof of purchase. Keep the order number; you will need it for a claim.
Is the warranty transferable?
No. It applies to the original purchaser. If you give Bespoky shoes as a gift, share the order details with the recipient.
I bought my shoes from a third-party reseller. Am I covered?
The warranty applies to pairs bought directly from bespokyshoes.com.
The leather developed a patina. Is that a defect?
No. Patina is the natural ageing of vegetable-tanned leather. A defect would be cracking, splitting or peeling under normal wear within the warranty period.
What if my claim is not approved?
We explain the reason by email.
