Each pair starts as vegetable-tanned calf hide selected from our 4th-gen tannery partner in Gaziantep. The hide is cut by hand using patterns refined over generations, then stitched with waxed linen thread by an artisan whose father and grandfather did the same work before him. A single pair takes 6-10 hours of hand-work.
Care Guide
